Pega Teach for Change organises State level competitions for Government school children. 157 finalists from 40,257 students competed in various competitions are brought together for the culmination event.
The Pega Teach for Change children’s day campaign has reached its culmination on Saturday at Pegasystems, Hyderabad. Over 157 students from 85 Government schools of Telangana have participated in the Spelling bee, singing, dancing, and painting competitions enthusiastically. The event was graced by K Narayana Reddy, DEO,Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District; Mr. Deepak Visweswaraiah, Vice President, Platform Engineering and Site Managing Director, Pegasystems; Mr. Ddharaniikota Ssyudhan, Lead Counsel – India and International Corporate Law, Pegasystems and Mr. Chaitanya MRSK, CEO, Teach for Change.
“We have been running the Pega Teach for Change children’s day campaign in Government schools of 4 states for over 45 days. Over 40,257 students from 372 Government schools, where Teach for Change has a presence have participated in this campaign. Witnessing their talents over the past month, we have decided to organise a culmination event for the finalists from different Government schools and with the support of our flagship CSR partner Pegasystems, we have organised these competitions,” said Mr. Chaitanya MRSK, CEO, Teach for Change.
“Pega Teach for Change transformed 58 government schools in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District by setting up 56 Smart Classrooms and 2 Digital Labs. Within 6 months of this project implementation, we were able to witness significant progress in our primary school children.
