After shocking arrests of leading actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani in drugs case in Bangalore recently, one more arrest was made. These two heroines have spent nearly three months in jail and got released on bail. Close on the heals of their arrests, another arrest is now creating more furore among Sandalwood industry circles.
After the actors, now its the turn of producers to face the heat of drugs case. Shankar Gowda who made Kannada remake of Suriya's superhit film Tamil film Singam in Kannada with Kiccha Sudeep as hero titled Kempe Gowda in 2011 is now arrested on drug peddling charges.
Interestingly, Shankara Gowda is a big fan of Sudeep and he made Kempe Gowda by not only featuring Sudeep as a hero, but he has made Sudeep as the director of this film which has become biggest box-office hit. The silver lining of this entire case is Ragini Dwivedi who got arrested earlier in drugs related case is the heroine in Kempe Gowda which makes the whole drug episode more interesting and mystical. It remains to be seen how many more heads are going to roll in coming days.
